echt deutsch

I am very excited to let you all know that, come October, this blog will get considerably more interesting as I relocate to Berlin for a year. I will be studying the music of Bernd Alois Zimmermann in the Akademie der KΓΌnste and how it relates to German post-war Expressionism and neo-Expressionism (especially the art of Anselm Kiefer and Joseph Beuys). And, maybe more importantly, seeing the Berliner Philharmoniker every weekend.
